Spindrift:
Is a over-the-top big wave surfing game (mockup) made for Game Mockup Jam 2!
The gameplay idea is inspired mostly by SSX with some elements of Tony Hawk and Jet Set Radio. The game involve your decent down larger-than-live waves decked out with ramps, rails, and other moored off-shore obstacles. Inspired by the floating ramps on real life wake-board trick courses.
On land, upgrade your board at the surf shop, and buy some stat-buffing food on the boardwalk to prep for your next big ride.
This was super fun! I'm glad I randomly stumbled on this jam from a bsky post!

Inspired by SSX !!! i grew up on those games, exciting to see something inspired by them being worked on in 2024
